Former KU star Christian Braun shared a touching tribute to his mother
Guard Christian Braun and the Denver Nuggets on Sunday afternoon will be playing host to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA playoffs.
It’ll be a big day for Braun because it’s the postseason and because it’s Mother’s Day. During Women’s History Month, Braun shared what his mother, Lisa, has meant to him.
I think that not just her impact in basketball, but just the way she kind of held our whole family together, it seems like she does every single little thing for us,” Braun said in a video shared by the Nuggets. “She’s obviously very strong, she’s tough-minded, and we’re very similar in that way. We love her so much and we appreciate her and everything she does for us.
“It’s kind of hard to, you know, really put into words everything she does for our family, everything she does for my dad, for my brothers. So we appreciate her every single day.”
