Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes to be inducted into Texas High School Football Hall of Fame
This certainly won’t be the last time Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is inducted into a Hall of Fame.
But Mahomes on Saturday will be enshrined in the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame in Waco, Texas. Mahomes is one of nine people to be inducted in a class that includes former Baylor star Robert Griffin III.
The Hall of Fame shared a video and biography of Mahomes’ accomplishments at Whitehouse High School, Texas Tech and with the Chiefs.
In the video, a narrator said: “The Texas High School Football Hall of Fame recognizes those who impacted the game beyond compare in a state where excellence is the standard. This year, the Hall of Fame welcomes Patrick Mahomes II of Whitehouse High School. ... Patrick Mahomes II excelled for the Whitehouse Wildcats, throwing for more than 8,000 yards and 90 touchdowns in his final two high school seasons.”
Here is what the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame shared about Mahomes on Instagram.
