Former Chiefs star Frank Clark has message for rookie who will wear No. 55

The players chosen by the Chiefs in last month’s NFL Draft are getting their first taste of life with the team at the three-day rookie minicamp that wraps up Monday.

They have donned their jerseys for the first time, as the team shared a look at the numbers that were assigned to each player.

Defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott, the Chiefs’ second-round pick from Tennessee, will be wearing No. 55.

Josh Uche and Swayze Bowman both were in No. 55 a year ago for the Chiefs, but before that, it was Frank Clark’s number. When the Chiefs shared the rookie numbers on Instagram, Clark had a message for Norman-Lott.

“Tell 55 make sure he get some blood on them numbers,” Clark wrote and he included a shark emoji. His nickname was The Shark.
