Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker visits with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office
The Chiefs missed out on another trip to the White House because of their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
However, one Chiefs players visited on Thursday.
Kicker Harrison Butker met with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office, as Communication Advisor/Special Advisor to the President Margo Martin revealed on X.
Martin shared a photo of Butker chatting with President Trump, who was seated at his desk. She wrote: “The GOAT of kicking meets the GOAT of presidents.”
Trump last saw Butker — and the Chiefs — when he was at Super Bowl LIX at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Trump was the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl.
Butker, who is Catholic, was a vocal supporter of Trump ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
In an interview with Fox News, he shared he would be voting for Trump.
“I’m supporting the president that’s going to be the most pro-life president, and I think Donald Trump is the most pro-life president,” Butker said. “That’s a topic that is the most crucial topic for me. I want us to be fighting for the most vulnerable, fighting for the unborn, and that’s what we should prioritize.”
In an Instagram post Butker shared on Election Day, he wrote about his political action committee that was dedicated to helping conservative candidates.
“Christians!” Butker wrote.
“Head to the polls today. Vote to keep God in America.
“Vote President Trump.”
