Chiefs coach Andy Reid stars as a hand model in a new Super Bowl commercial
We haven’t seen a hand model this promising since George Costanza inherited the throne from Ray McKigney on the sitcom “Seinfeld.”
Who’d have guessed Chiefs coach Andy Reid had this surprising skill?
The shoe maker Skechers will be airing a commercial starring Reid as a hand model. The reason for the new side gig? Those Skechers shoes he’s talking about in the spot allow him to keep his hands free.
“Comfy shoes with a little extra room you don’t need your hands to put on,” Reid says in the commercial. “I just step in and go qith no bending down and no touching. And to be honest, I kind of like not using my hands.”
Skechers noted that this is the 12th time it’ll have a commercial air during a Super Bowl. Other spots have included former Chiefs quarterback Joe Montana, Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart, Mark Cuban and Tony Romo.
