Someone is betting big on Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. Really big.

Caesars Palace in Las Vegas said a bettor has placed a $1.3 million wager on the Chiefs beating the Buffalo Bills in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

The potential payout on the bet: $1 million, according to Caesars Palace.

Big wagers are not uncommon with NFL games. In December, someone placed a $3.1 million bet on the Philadelphia Eagles beating the Carolina Panthers, The Athletic reported.

That person won $442,850, that story said.

When the Chiefs beat the Falcons 22-17 in a “Sunday Night Football” game during the regular season, a bettor won $571,000 on a $1 million wager, according to Fox Sports.
