Tight end Travis Kelce continues to set NFL records, as he did Saturday in the Chiefs’ 23-14 win over the Houston Texans, and that reflects not only his greatness but also his longevity.

At age 35, Kelce is aware that his playing days won’t last forever, and he’s already fielding questions about whether he’ll retire soon.

That’s why Kelce is savoring his favorite time of the season: the playoffs.

Kelce was mic’d-up for Saturday’s AFC Divisional playoff game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, and he talked to a teammate about his love of the postseason.

And Kelce also raved about the atmosphere at Arrowhead Stadium. Chiefs fans were in full throat for the game and it impressed Kelce.

This (place) is rocking today,” Kelce said in the video. “I’m telling you, dog, there’s nothing like playoff atmosphere, man. This is the most fun you could ever have in life, dog. We only got so many of these, man. You already know. You never lose sight of that. No matter how hard they hit, you’ve got to embrace how hard it is and really enjoy that.

“It’s the only way to do it.”
