Chiefs release playoff hype video ahead of their bid for 3rd straight Super Bowl title

Will the Chiefs make magic in the playoffs?
Will the Chiefs make magic in the playoffs?

In 32 days, we’ll know if NFL history is made.

The Chiefs are on the cusp of being the first team in league history to win three straight Super Bowl championships. The Super Bowl LIX will be held Feb. 9, but the Chiefs’ quest won’t begin until Jan. 18 at the earliest in an AFC Divisional playoff game.

However, the NFL postseason begins Saturday with the Wild Card round, and the Chiefs released a hype video to kick off festivities. It’s called “Three Acts,” a clear reference to their attempt at a Super Bowl trifecta.

“It’s been said that magic happens in three parts,” the narrator says. “The first: You show something familiar. The second: You realize it might not be what it seems, something more. So now you’re looking for the trick, the sleight of hand, the ruse, but while you’re busy searching, the third part has already begun.

“This one leaves you in awe, it makes you believe, if only for a second. That familiar feint might not be familiar it all. It must be magic.”

Here is the video.
