Watching Chiefs games is not for the faint of heart.

The Chiefs beat the Buccaneers 30-24 on “Monday Night Football,” but it did not come easy as Tampa Bay scored a game-tying touchdown with 27 seconds left in regulation.

Tampa Bay eschewed a two-point conversion try and then lost the coin toss at the start of overtime. The Chiefs got the ball and moved 70 yards in 10 plays for the walk-off score. Running back Kareem Hunt won the game with a tough 2-yard touchdown run.

Mitch Holthus, the radio voice of the Chiefs, had an electric call of Hunt’s touchdown run. Here is what he said.

“Third down and 1 at the 2-yard line, a touchdown walks it off. Handoff Kareem Hunt, right side, powering —give it to him —touchdown! Kan-sas City! It’s a walk-off touchdown by Kareem Hunt! And the Kansas City Chiefs stay undefeated at 8-0! The only unbeaten team in the National Football League, 14 straight wins for the Chiefs Kingdom. That’s an all-time Kansas City record and seventh in National Football League history.”

Yep, Holthus was excited. This is the audio via 96.5 The Fan.
