If there was ever a time when rain could be a good thing at an NFL football game, it would be if members of the band Creed were on hand.

Guess what happened Monday night at the Chiefs-Buccaneers game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium? Yep, it rained and members of Creed were on hand.

Why is that significant? One of their better-known songs is called “Rain.”

What could make this even better? How about if Chiefs center Creed Humphrey met with the band members? Yep, Humphrey had his photo taken with Mark Tremonti (who is at left in the photo below) and lead singer Scott Stapp.

The band Creed will be playing at the T-Mobile Center on Wednesday, so it made sense for members of the band to attend the Chiefs-Bucs game.

Here are a few of the other responses to that post from the Chiefs about the symmetry of Creed visiting with Creed.
