Hugh Grant details drinking tequila with Chiefs’ Travis Kelce at Taylor Swift show
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has attended more than a dozen of girlfriend Taylor Swift’s concerts since the Eras Tour began last year, including three at Wembley Stadium in June.
Kelce hung out with a number of celebrities during those three shows in the greater London area. That included actor Hugh Grant, who shared an intriguing message on X.
That led many to wonder if Grant did tequila shots with Kelce, and the actor gave the answer this week.
While doing an interview ahead of the release of his movie, “Heretic,” Grant talked about going to that Eras Tour show.
“I thoroughly enjoyed it,” Grant said, per NME. “She went mad, my daughter, she brought a friend. They were bopping away. And I hung out with Taylor Swift’s boyfriend who’s an American football player. ...”
The interviewer noted that’s Kelce.
“Yeah. We did tequila shots in the back of this sort of ... they put up a kind of hut for us in the middle of Wembley, and there were a bunch of, I think they were rappers,” Grant said. “I don’t know what they were. Anyway, we all got absolutely smashed (on) tequila.”
That was the Saturday show at Wembley in June, and the next day Kelce took the stage and performed during one song.
