Fans loved that Chiefs game was shown before Taylor Swift’s concert in Miami
International singing star Taylor Swift had to work Sunday, so she couldn’t attend the Chiefs’ 28-18 win over the 49ers in Santa Clara, California.
Swift was on the other side of the country in Miami Gardens, Florida, but there’s a good chance she was watching boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Chiefs on television. We know her fans were viewing the NFL game.
Swift’s Eras Tour was at Hard Rock Stadium (site of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIV victory over San Francisco), and Sunday’s Chiefs game was on TVs all around the Dolphins’ home.
Fans loved the continue crossover between Swift and Kelce, who had four receptions for 17 yards.
An aside: CBS played Swift’s “Bad Blood” when the game went into a commercial break, and a spot for her forthcoming book aired, too.
Some of those Swifties who were at the Eras Tour show on Sunday shared posts on social media of the televisions tuned to the Chiefs game. To be fair, the Dolphins played an early game on Sunday, but it’s likely Swift’s fans would have wanted to watch the Chiefs anyway.
