With her Eras Tour, Taylor Swift could still attend these 14 Chiefs games next season

There is bad news for the Brads, dads and, yes, Chads out there.

The Chiefs released their 2024 schedule on Wednesday night and it appears Taylor Swift will be free to attend most games this season.

Football fans who openly complained about Swift being shown on television broadcasts (even though studies showed she was rarely on screen) were colloquially referred to by Swift as “Brads, dads and Chads.”

Swift attended 13 Chiefs games last season, including Super Bowl LVIII, when she played an Eras Tour concert in Japan on the Saturday before the big game.

The Eras Tour will continue through the year, but Swift’s schedule actually matches up well with the Chiefs’ slate of games. In one instance, the schedules synced up a little too well for fans of the opposing team. More on that below

The European leg of the Eras Tour ends on Aug. 20, a little more than a fortnight before the Chiefs open the season on Sept. 5 against the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium.

Swift could easily attend that game as the Chiefs raise their Super Bowl LVIII championship banner.

The Chiefs will have played five games by the time the Eras Tour resumes Oct. 18.

In the 17-game season, there are only three days when the Chiefs have a game and Swift has a concert scheduled.

Oct. 20: Chiefs play at San Francisco 49ers, and Swift has a show in Miami.

Oct. 27: Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders, and Swift has a show in New Orleans.

Dec. 8: Chiefs host the LA Chargers, and Swift has a show in Vancouver, the last one scheduled so far.

Not sure how Swift feels about Christmas in Pittsburgh (which could be the title of a Hallmark movie), but the Chiefs play the Steelers on the holiday. So that might be one she skips, though she did attend the Christmas Day home game last year.

It didn’t take Swift’s fans long to sync up her work schedule with boyfriend Travis Kelce, the Chiefs’ star tight end.

“OK Swifties, it’s time for a meeting,” Swiftie @foreverconnie said in a TikTok. “The NFL just dropped their schedule and I went ahead and added every game to my calendar, as I also added the tour dates for the fall season to see where we were standing, when I can sit on my couch and and maybe watch Taylor on my TV during football.”

“Tayvoodoo is coming for the dads, brads & chad,” another Swiftie tweeted.

The X account @SwiftieESPN created a colorful chart showing how the schedules match up using red hearts next to games “Taylor could attend (possibly),” all the way into the postseason where, oh look, she’s free for that third consecutive Super Bowl win (possibly).

Swifties aren’t the only ones connecting dots.

Some Bills fans find it suspicious that the Chiefs play in Buffalo on Sunday, Nov. 17, while Swift will be with her Eras Tour just a two-hour drive away in Toronto.

She performs there Nov. 14-16, then has a break before more shows there Nov. 21-23, which means she’ll be free on game day.

Swift went to Buffalo in January when the Chiefs defeated the Bills in the AFC Divisional Round.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, NFL vice president of broadcasting Onnie Bose swore the NFL didn’t plan around Swift’s schedule by having the Chiefs in Buffalo that day.
