Ed Kelce introduces gal pal to public before Travis Kelce’s wedding to Taylor Swift
With his son’s wedding expected to happen sometime soon, Ed Kelce appeared to introduce a love interest of his own over the weekend.
Kelce — the 75-year-old father of Kansas City Chiefs tight end and groom-to-be Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason Kelce — posted a photo of a female friend on Instagram.
“With the dynamic and gorgeous Doree Hepner at 118 North, listening to York Street Hustle: their Summer Soul(stice) show,” he wrote.
118 North is a bar in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
Kelce’s followers took the post as a soft launch of a new romantic relationship. He was married to the Kelce brothers’ mother, Donna Kelce, for nearly 25 years before they divorced.
The former couple are often seen at the same events as they support their sons’ activities, including NFL football games. Jason is the retired center for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Kelce’s longtime friend Maureen Maguire died last August. He shared a link to her obituary on his Facebook page.
Her obituary referenced her friendship with Kelce.
“She also grew an unexpected love for football later in life, sharing many laughs and adventures with her beloved friend Ed Kelce and her loyal dog Butch,” the obituary said.
“Together, they traveled often and attended football games and concerts, and embraced every opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest.”
Jason and his wife, Kylie Kelce, joined Kelce at Maguire’s funeral last summer in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania.
Kelce introduced his presumed new relationship as Travis and Taylor Swift prepare for their highly anticipated nuptials.
Though the plans are cloaked in secrecy, tabloids suggest something is set to happen on July 3 in New York, possibly something involving Madison Square Garden.
Travis appears to have had his bachelor party fun in California over the weekend.
He and Jason, and Swift’s father, Scott Swift, attended the Anduril 250 in San Diego, where NASCAR driver Connor Zilisch said he saw Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in attendance, too.
TMZ reported that Kelce’s long weekend of fun also included a stop at a dive bar and a Chris Lake concert in Los Angeles, and taking in a Dave Chapelle show in San Diego.
