Sports Illustrated cover has Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift at Las Vegas wedding chapel
FanDuel Canada is offering odds on whether Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will propose to Taylor Swift on the field at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas after Super Bowl LVIII.
They’re not the only ones thinking about the possibility of the country’s most famous couple taking their relationship to the next level.
Sam Joffray, Las Vegas Super Bowl Host Committee CEO, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal the city is excited about the thought of the superstar singer coming to watch Kelce and the Chiefs.
“It does feel very Vegas to have her here, doesn’t it?” Joffray told the newspaper. “Maybe keep all eyes on the wedding chapels? And maybe Travis Kelce will be covered, even off the field.”
Weddings and Las Vegas go hand in hand.
Couples elope to Las Vegas in big numbers (there are roughly 120,000 marriages in the city each year, per the Little Vegas Chapel).
The thought of Kelce running off with Swift in one arm and the Lombardi Trophy in the other to get married is a stretch. But Sports Illustrated also had a nod to a possible wedding on the cover of latest edition.
There’s a cartoon drawing of Las Vegas to accompany a story with the headline “Why the Super Bowl and Las Vegas are a perfect couple.” That drawing includes Kelce and Swift outside of a wedding chapel.
