Superstar singer Taylor Swift was not at the Chiefs’ 24-9 loss Sunday to the Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, the first Kansas City game she’d missed in three weeks.

Ah, but her presence was made known following the game.

As the Chiefs were leaving the field after their loss (and the Broncos and their fans celebrated), one of Swift’s best-known songs was played on the public-address system.

It was Swift’s Grammy Award-nominated tune, “Shake It Off.” One could make the case that the Broncos chose that song to acknowledge they had shaken off a 16-game losing streak to the Chiefs.

Another theory: the Broncos were trolling the Chiefs because as you likely know, Swift’s boyfriend is Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce.

You can decide for yourself, but here is video of the song being played at Empower Field at Mile High.

Let’s be honest, the Chiefs are the ones who are going to want to shake off this loss, so perhaps it was just good sportsmanship of the part of the Broncos.

That’s a joke. The Broncos were absolutely trolling the Chiefs.
