Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes shows off fashionable side in new commercial for Hugo Boss
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has walked a lot of red carpets in 2023.
There was one at Union Station when the Chiefs received their rings for winning Super Bowl LVII. Before that, Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, were at the Met Gala in New York.
The couple also walked the red carpet at the Kentucky Derby fashion show and then at the ESPYs.
Mahomes seems to be a fan of Hugo Boss, and now he’s starring in a new commercial for the fashion house.
“I want to show kids that they can achieve their dream and I want to show them that if they really work hard every single day they can attain it,” Mahomes says in the spot.
There’s a pause before the video plays the lyrics to “Changes” by 2Pac (featuring a sample of Bruce Hornsby’s “The Way It Is”).
Then Mahomes says: “No matter where you’re at in life, it’s about being the best you you can be every single day.”
During the 30-second spot, viewers see Mahomes in a variety of looks and there are some old photos of him in the background.
Hugo Boss said in a news release that Mahomes was chosen along with Naomi Campbell, Lee Minho, Gigi Hadid, Suki Waterhouse and Matteo Berrettini, for its Fall/Winter campaign.
“Short black-and-white videos shine a spotlight on these BOSSes sharing the inspiring stories that have defined their journey so far,” the fashion company wrote, “and reflect on the moments that have shaped who they are today.”
