Travis Kelce, mic’d-up for Chiefs training camp, channels Dani Rojas of ‘Ted Lasso’
There are times when a video of mic’d-up players reveals some fun secrets.
For instance, Chiefs fans recently learned that tight end Travis Kelce is a fan of the Emmy-award winning show, “Ted Lasso.” In a video the team shared, Kelce says, “Dani Rojas! Football is Life!”
In the Jason Sudeikis show, Dani Rojas makes his first appearance and delivers that “Football is Life” line.
In the video, Kelce also extols the virtues of rolling in the wet grass, calls himself “El Travador,” offers advice to a fellow tight end and tells linebacker Nick Bolton who had won a one-on-one matchup (it was Kelce).
“Hey,” Kelce says, “speed kills, Bolt.”
It’s hardly a shocker to see Kelce bring high energy to the Chiefs’ training-camp practice. Little surprise, too, that this is a fun mic’d-up video that shows Kelce’s day at camp.
