Chiefs’ Travis Kelce and Chris Jones star in a new commercial for DirecTV
Monday marks one month until the start of the 2023 NFL season, which begins with the Chiefs playing host to the Detroit Lions at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
Whether or not fans will see defensive tackle Chris Jones in that game remains a mystery, as he continues his holdout from training camp. But Chiefs fans will see Jones, who is hoping for a new contract, on television.
Jones and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce star in a new series of commercials for DirecTV. Kelce is the “Overly Direct Sports Person” for DirecTV and he delivers some blunt advice for football fans in a harsh manner.
Jones co-stars in the commercials. Here is a look via Jones’ Instagram post in which he wrote: “When @killatrav asked me to help him out, I couldn’t refuse. Stop compromising, and start watching football with @DIRECTV so I can get back to tackling people.”
Chiefs fans certainly hope to see Jones tackling people in the near future because it would mean his holdout was over.
