Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was having none of this line of questioning on Wednesday.

Kelce joined “Inside Training Camp Live” on the NFL Network, and the final inquiry from Andrew Siciliano had to do with his attempt to meet singer Taylor Swift before one of her shows at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

Was that actually true?

“I said what I said and I meant what I said when I said it,” Kelce responded. “It is what it is. I’m not going to talk about my personal life. I know what you writers want to hear. You want to hear more about that, and I’m not going to give you anything.”

Has she reached out, Siciliano asked.

“And that’s going to wrap it up here,” Kelce said, as Michael Robinson laughed.

Kelce’s attempt to meet Taylor Swift went viral, and so did his actions at training camp over the weekend. Kelce was involved in a pair of scuffles with teammates.

“You just get fired up. It’s training camp, a lot of stuff is going through your mind. I’ve just got to be smarter,” Kelce said, choosing his words carefully. “My mentality out there is to go out there and be the best leader that I possibly can. And it got a little away from me in a certain instance. If it wasn’t warranted, I went up to him and I didn’t necessarily apologize, but I told him that I won’t do it again. That wasn’t needed out there.

“But at the same time it’s football, man. I’m gonna go out there and play with the aggression and the passion that I have and that’s gonna be that.”

Kelce showed up at camp Wednesday with a mustache (instead of his ususal beard), and that had fans talking on social media.

“It’s just have fun at camp, man, trying to switch up the look,” Kelce said. “You get sick of looking at yourself in the mirror with all this fur on your face and then shout-out to Andy Reid, baby. It’s the ‘stache time baby. The power of the ‘stache.”
