The American Century Celebrity Golf Championship wasn’t held in Las Vegas, but some Raiders fans made the trip to Lake Tahoe.

And they were giving Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce a hard time during Friday’s opening round.

That turned out to be a mistake.

Kelce, who finished 71st in the annual tournament which features star athletes, musicians and actors, shot down the smack-talking fans.

After hitting a tee shot that didn’t quite land on the fairway, Kelce was lining up his next shot amid a group of spectators. It was here that some were giving Kelce a hard time.

Given the Chiefs’ success against the Raiders (five straight wins and victories in 10 of the last 11), Kelce simply reminded the fans all they could poke fun at was Kelce’s golf game.

This was a funny moment from the tournament (video from Sports Radio 810).

A Chargers fan made a similar mistake a couple years ago with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes at the same tournament.
