Chiefsaholic tweeted after Super Bowl for first time since alleged bank robbery arrest

Fifty-eight days after he last shared a message on Twitter, Chiefsaholic was active following Kansas City’s victory in Super Bowl LVII.

In those eight weeks of silence, Xavier Babudar was arrested and charged with robbing a credit union in Bixby, Oklahoma. At least one Chiefs fan told The Star that Babudar is the person behind the Chiefsaholic Twitter account.

The story of Babudar’s arrest for the alleged robbery went viral in December, just days after Chiefsaholic said he’d be in Houston for the Chiefs-Texans game.

According to KRMG radio, Babudar was released from jail earlier this month. That came after the courts had reduced his bail, WHO-TV reported. Babudar listed an Overland Park address but also had told the court he was homeless.

The KRMG story noted that Babudar was wearing a “court-ordered ankle monitor” after his release.

“He also filed a motion to allow him to travel to Arizona, where the Kansas City Chiefs are playing the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl,” KRMG reported.

The courts denied that request, but Chiefsaholic tweeted shortly after the Chiefs defeated the Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII.

Chiefsaholic shared a video that includes cursing, and you can see it here. The person in the video is wearing an ankle monitor. That account also retweeted quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ tweet after the game and Kansas City mayor Quinton Lucas’ call for a Super Bowl parade.
