The Chiefs scored four touchdowns in their 31-20 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV, and each one took place in the same end zone.

San Francisco’s end zone was painted red, and that was where the Chiefs scored their touchdowns.

On the other end of the field was the Chiefs’ end zone, which was painted gold.

For Super Bowl LVII at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the gold end zone is back. (It was also used for Super Bowl LV, but fans don’t want to be reminded about that game.)

One note: the playing field that left multiple Chiefs players injured in the 2022 season opener against the Cardinals has been replaced. The field turf that will be used Sunday was created by Oklahoma State researchers.

Here is a look at the playing field and the wrap that was place around State Farm Stadium.
