There are a number of websites that show the strength of schedule for each NFL team in the 2022 season.

In the case of the Kansas City Chiefs, most agree that they are tied with the San Francisco 49ers for the fifth-most difficult schedule.

One person who thinks the Chiefs schedule is the toughest in the NFL is wide receiver Mecole Hardman.

“Ain’t no way we don’t have the hardest schedule lol,” Hardman wrote on Twitter.

The NFL’s strength of schedule formula is based on the win-loss totals of each team from the previous season. But a lot has happened since week 18 of the 2021 season.

For one, AFC West teams made a flurry of big moves and the division is now considered the best in football, and it’s not even up for discussion.

The Chiefs also will play both Super Bowl teams (Bengals and Rams), and as fans know, will face off against five division winners (NFC South, NFC West, AFC East, AFC South and AFC North).

This chart from Warren Sharp of Sharp Football Analysis shows, as Hardman noted, the Chiefs have the toughest slate of games in 2022. It’s based on the projected win total of each team from Las Vegas bookmakers.

Here are the Chiefs’ 2022 opponents and their over/under win totals from Vegas Insider (reminder: KC will play its AFC West opponents twice):

Broncos: 10.5 victories

Chargers: 10.5

Raiders: 8.5

Bills: 11.5

Bengals: 9.5

Colts: 9.5

Titans: 9.5

Texans: 4.5

Jaguars: 6.5

Rams: 10.5

Cardinals: 9.5

Seahawks: 5.5

49ers: 9.5

Buccaneers: 11.5
