Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will make cameo Tuesday on TV show on ABC
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce may get a chance to work as a sports commentator.
However, it won’t be calling a football game. At least not at first.
In Tuesday night’s season premier of “Holy Moley,” the mini-golf competition show, Kelce will make the first of his three scheduled cameos.
“Holey Moley” says it puts contestants through “a series of matchups on an epic obstacle golf course,“ while commentators Rob Riggle and Joe Tessitore offer their commentary. It airs Tuesdays on ABC (KMBC, Ch. 9 in Kansas City).
Tuesday night’s premier also features the Muppets, and it will be interesting to see if Kelce interacts with Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy or any other of the beloved characters.
Here’s a preview of Kelce on the episode, and it appears he’s angling (for comedic effect) for the job held by Riggle, the Kansas alum, “Big Slick” co-host and huge Chiefs fan.
Kelce will also appear on the show on June 7 and June 24.
This won’t be Kelce’s first foray into television. He was in a reality show “Catching Kelce” and also guest starred in “Moon Base 8” with John C. Reilly and Fred Armisen.
