Chances are, not all 10 players the Kansas City Chiefs selected in the 2022 NFL Draft will become stars.

It just doesn’t work out that way, right?

But for one day at least, fans can dream that these 10 players will make an impact in the NFL. Their college résumés have to be solid, otherwise they wouldn’t have been chosen.

Here is (at least) one fact or statistic about each player the Chiefs selected.

CB Trent McDuffie

McDuffie had 94 tackles in 28 games at Washington and was named the Huskies’ most outstanding defensive player.

DE George Karlaftis

Had the highest pass-rush win rate (when taking out stunts and blitzes) of any player in college football last fall, per Pro Football Focus.

WR Skyy Moore

While he’s only 5 foot 10, no wide receiver in the draft has hands as large as Moore.

S Bryan Cook

Pro Football Focus noted Cook didn’t allow a single touchdown in the 2021 season.

LB Leo Chenal

Next Gen Stats noted only a small group of linebackers have had an athleticism score ranked as high as Chenal.

CB Joshua Williams

The Chiefs website noted Williams was an accomplished track star at Jack Britt High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He set the school record of 10.65 seconds in the 100-meter dash and also ran hurdles.

OL Darian Kinnard

Among tackles in the SEC, Kinnard had Pro Football Focus’ highest career grade.

CB Jaylen Watson

Before transferring to Washington State, he was a Junior College Bureau first team All-America at Ventura College in California. He had 13 pass breakups, four interceptions and one fumble recovery for Ventura.

RB Isiah Pacheco

Pacheco ran a 4.37-second 40-yard dash, tied for the fastest time among running backs at the NFL Combine.

S Nazeeh Johnson

At Marshall’s Pro Day, Johnson had a 42-inch vertical leap and logged a 4.36-second 40-yard dash, per the Charleston Gazette-Mail.
