For Pete's Sake

Here is the ‘One Shining Moment’ video from Kansas Jayhawks’ national championship win

The game was over, confetti covered the court and the trophy had been awarded to the Kansas Jayhawks when coach Bill Self took a few minutes to enjoy himself on Monday night in New Orleans.

What did Self do? He watched the “One Shining Moment” video that marks the official end of the men’s NCAA Tournament.

Stadium’s Jeff Goodman shared this video of Self:

Fans eagerly anticipate the “One Shining Moment” video each year, especially those who support the team that wins the national championship.

KU was featured prominently in the video, but so were other teams that made the Final Four, along with 15th-seeded Saint Peters, which beat Kentucky and later advanced to the Elite Eight.

Here is the video following the Jayhawks’ 72-69 win over the Tar Heels on Monday night:

It’s easy to see why Self would smile about that video.
