Kansas City Chiefs fans created some really cool Patrick Mahomes/Grim Reaper memes
After an unforgettable game Sunday, Chiefs coach Andy Reid gave us a memorable quote.
When asked what advice he gave quarterback Patrick Mahomes when the Chiefs were down three points with 13 seconds to play in what would end up being a 42-36 overtime Kansas City victory over the Bills, Reid said: “When it’s grim, be the Grim Reaper.”
Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman loved the quote, but wondered if that actually came up in the game.
“That’s pretty cold by Coach Reid to come up with something like that,” Hardman said with a smile on Monday. “I don’t know if he was lying and just came up with that in the press conference or he really told him that. I’m gonna have to ask him about it and see if he really thought of that.”
Fans loved the quote, too.
