Former Chargers running back recounted a terrible story about team’s medical staff
The NFL world was astounded by the news of why Chargers quarterback Tyrod Taylor required hospitalization during Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that a Chargers team doctor was injecting Taylor with a painkiller because of a cracked rib. Unfortunately for Taylor, the needle punctured his lung.
While the NFL Players Association has opened an investigation into the alleged mishap, a former Chargers running back shared a story of the medical staff’s mistake with former LA quarterback Philip Rivers.
