For Pete's Sake

NFL Films video pays tribute to Chiefs’ Andy Reid’s success and love of cheeseburgers

Thanks to NFL Films, we now know what Chiefs coach Andy Reid will tell the team on Saturday night before the Chargers game.

NFL Films shared a video that highlights Reid’s success as coach over 22 seasons and his love of cheeseburgers. There are some funny shots of Reid’s willingness to wager a cheeseburger with his players or a random sideline official.

There’s also a clip of Reid and his former assistants who are now NFL head coaches. In that, Ravens coach John Harbaugh shared a fun story about Reid.

“That’s coach Reid’s great line,” Harbaugh said. “He’d give a pep talk the night before or talk about the game plan or whatever and always end it with the same line, ‘Treat ya to a cheeseburger.’”

And there are times when Reid does give the players a cheeseburger.

As usual, NFL Films did a great job with this video:
