For Pete's Sake

The NFL Network will air two new documentaries on the Chiefs this week

The Chiefs will be in the national spotlight two nights this week.

There’s the 2020 NFL season opener against the Houston Texans on Thursday at Arrowhead Stadium, of course. That game will be seen across the country on NBC (Ch. 41).

On Wednesday, the Chiefs will be featured on the NFL Network, which will air “America’s Game” and “Time’s Yours: Andy Reid and the 2019 Chiefs.”

“America’s Game,” which airs at 7 p.m., is a documentary series about the reigning Super Bowl champions. Per Yahoo Sports, Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes, Tyrann Mathieu and Travis Kelce were interviewed for the special.

“We wanted to make sure the Chiefs got their due,” Jason Weber producer of this year’s “America’s Game,” told Terez A. Paylor of Yahoo Sports.

Here’s a preview as the players talk about “2-3 Jet Chip Wasp:”

At 8 p.m., the NFL Network will air “Time’s Yours,” which is named after Reid’s signature line at news conferences.
