For Pete's Sake

Here is The Rock’s epic introduction of the Chiefs at Super Bowl LIV

Raise your hand if you expected to hear Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, sing “Kansas City” as part of his Super Bowl LIV introductions.

Yeah, no one saw that coming.

But The Rock got Chiefs fans watching the game pumped up with his presentation of the Chiefs.

“So what it’s been 50 years since Kansas City was last here? By the time it took you to answer the door and tip the pizza guy, this team just scored another touchdown,” he said.

“For the four people on the planet not familiar with my man Travis, he’s the tight end who led the league in yards, catches and made opposing defenses question their life choices.

“Now there’s fast and then there’s these guys: they are Hill, Watkins and Hardman, but collectively they are the Legion of Zoom.

“You know this guy don’t care, Mr. Mathieu. Time to unleash hell.

“And if that’s enough, there’s this man, Patrick Mahomes. You cannot take your eyes off him for fear that you will miss something incredible.

“So Kingdom are you ready? You’ve waited five decades to hear it: Here come your champions of the AFC...”

With Fox 4 planning to show Super Bowl LIV on Saturday, but not include the pregame show, I thought it would be a good time to share this again (the Chiefs start at the 1:42 mark):
