For Pete's Sake

Chiefs’ Eric Fisher reportedly becomes a brand ambassador for Bud Light

An impromptu decision by Chiefs offensive lineman Eric Fisher apparently has morphed into a nice little side gig.

During the Chiefs’ 51-31 win over the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional Playoff game at Arrowhead Stadium, Fisher joined tight end Blake Bell’s celebration after a game-sealing touchdown.

Fisher grabbed two beers from fans in the stands and did a “Stone Cold” Steve Austin celebration:

Fans loved it, and now Fox Business reported that Fisher and two other NFL players who celebrated with Budweiser or Bud Light have been hired as “brand ambassadors.”

Former Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters and Giants receiver Golden Tate are the others. Tate shared the news on Twitter:

There were no details on what the ambassadorship entails, but Budweiser worked with Fisher in January to give a little something back to the Chiefs fans whose beers he used for the celebration.
