Chiefs’ Tyrann Mathieu, Broncos’ Chris Harris exchange tweets, ponder being teammates
The timing of the tweet by Denver Broncos’ cornerback Chris Harris Jr. couldn’t have been coincidental.

Mathieu, who is 5-foot-9, reached out to Harris, who is 5-10.
Harris, who was a star at KU and has been linked to the Chiefs by one former NFL player, seemed open to being teammates with Mathieu:
Mathieu simply wrote:
Safety Tony Jefferson, who was released by Baltimore last month, joined in the fun:
The Chiefs likely don’t have the salary-cap space to sign Harris, a four-time Pro Bowler who had a base salary of $9.8 million last year, per Spotrac.
