Chiefs fans left a reminder of Super Bowl LIV victory at Hank Stram’s grave

It seems likely that “2-3 Jet Chip Wasp” will go down in Chiefs history alongside “65 Toss Power Trap” as iconic Super Bowl plays.

The latter was called by coach Hank Stram in Super Bowl IV, which the Chiefs won 23-7 over the Minnesota Vikings.

That Super Bowl victory had been the franchise’s high water mark until Feb. 2 when the Chiefs beat the 49ers 31-20 and won Super Bowl LIV. The “2-3 Jet Chip Wasp” play proved to be the turning point.

Although Stram died in 2005, some Chiefs fans shared the good news of this year’s championship at Stram’s final resting place.

Stram’s grave is in Covington, Louisiana, not far from New Orleans, and here is what Chiefs fans left:
