Chiefs fans outside Kansas City were furious when CBS cut away from win over Raiders
This time, there was no technical glitch.
For some viewers outside of the Kansas City area, CBS made the decision to switch coverage of Sunday’s Chiefs-Raiders game to the more competitive Broncos-Chargers contest, which Denver won on a field goal on the game’s final play.
It was the second time this year CBS has stopped broadcasting a game Chiefs fans were watching.
In the season opener, a power outage in Jacksonville, Florida, caused CBS to switch away from the Chiefs-Jaguars game. Fans in Kansas City were not pleased.
On Sunday, fans in Kansas City kept watching the Chiefs’ 40-9 blowout of the Raiders. But Chiefs fans outside of the area were not as fortunate.
