Chiefs fans (mostly) applaud NFL’s decision to move game out of Mexico City
Tuesday was not a good day to be in charge of logistics for the Chiefs, Rams or ESPN.
The NFL announced that the “Monday Night Football” game, which was scheduled to be played at Azteca Stadium, was moving to Los Angeles because of poor field conditions in Mexico City.
Once pictures of the torn-up field were shared on social media, some Chiefs fans worried that Patrick Mahomes, Kareem Hunt, Tyreek Hill or any other player might suffer an injury.
So most Chiefs fans were glad the game was moving to Los Angeles, except of course, for those who had already booked travel to Mexico City for the game.
