I’m old enough to remember when the NFL outlawed touchdown celebrations.

Heck, if you’re reading this, so are you. The NFL allowed TD frivolity only last season, and the fun times have been taken to a new level in recent weeks.

On Sunday, Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill jumped into the stands at Arrowhead Stadium and stood behind the CBS TV camera, catching an official who was throwing a flag for Hill taking things a bit too far.

That came a week after New Orleans Saints receiver Michael Thomas pulled out a flip phone after scoring a touchdown against the Rams.

On Sunday, Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times tweeted an imaginary conversation between Hill and Thomas:

Michael Thomas: I’m going to pull out a phone.

Tyreek Hill: Hold my Gatorade.

Thomas retweeted that and included Hill: “ok I got something for you. Keep Balling bro!”

Does Thomas have another celebration up his sleeve? Hill seems to hope so, because he tweeted: “We can go all year bro bro. I see you though with the phone”

Fun times.
