Alex Gordon leaves Jason Vargas hanging on high-five line in dugout
I missed this moment during the Royals’ game Thursday night against the Angels, but it’s pretty funny.
After Royals left fielder Alex Gordon hit a home run, he went down a high-five line in the dugout and everyone got some love — except for one person. Left-hander Jason Vargas was left out in what appears to be a prank.
A Twitter user named Krown City King shared this video and even if you can read lips, I’d encourage you not to do so:

We don’t know if Gordon shared a laugh with Vargas after the video cuts off, but I’m guessing that’s what happened. Vargas leads baseball with 10 victories, so perhaps Gordon was just treating Vargas like the Patriots act around Tom Brady.
It's #nationalhighfiveday but will Tom Brady get his high five? pic.twitter.com/apf7ndH9uD
