Friends, former teammates of Joe McKnight stunned by his death
The shooting death of former Chiefs running back/returner Joe McKnight on Thursday sent shock waves through the NFL community.
McKnight was fatally shot in Terrytown, La., outside New Orleans during an argument at an intersection.
McKnight, who was 28, spent the 2014 season with the Chiefs after playing for three seasons with the New York Jets. He also played in the Canadian Football League.
The news left those who knew McKnight stunned, saddened and in disbelief:
