Frank White, Chiefs’ Chris Conley on Donald Trump video: ‘that is not locker room talk’
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump spent part of Sunday’s debate trying to explain the way he talked in a 2005 video.
The video came to light over the weekend, and in it, Trump is heard telling Billy Bush (who used to be with “Access Hollywood”) that he wanted to have sex with a married woman and bragged about kissing women and groping them.
That, Trump said on Sunday, was just “locker room talk.”
But Chiefs wide receiver Chris Conley said Trump couldn’t brush off criticism by saying that’s what men say in a locker room.
Just for reference. I work in a locker room (every day)... that is not locker room talk. Just so you know...

Have I been in every locker room? No. But the guys I know and respect don't talk like that. They talk about girls but not like that. Period.

Apart from this debate and apart from the election. I'm appalled how many of you are tweeting me that talking and acting that way is ok

Conley wasn’t the only athlete to make that observation. Here is former Royals second baseman Frank White:
Spent 27 years in locker rooms. Bragging about getting away with sexually assaulting women because you're famous is not "locker room talk!"

This was tweeted by Cody Decker, who was with the Royals in spring training:
I've been in quite a few locker rooms. The sexual assault banter has remarkably been at a minimum... Do you know why?....

(Part 2)

BECAUSE THATS NOT LOCKER ROOM BANTER! That is "sociopathic misogynistic sex offender banter"!
End of political tweets...
And then there was this from Jacob Tamme of the Atlanta Falcons:
Please stop saying "locker room talk"

It's not normal. And even if it were normal, it's not right. https://t.co/RQUWJJBSTn
