Chiefs release first depth chart of 2025. Rookie class is prominently featured

The first Chiefs depth chart is out, and the 2025 draft class looks to get plenty of action based on the pecking order.

Four players selected in the first three rounds are listed on the two-deep, including first-round pick Josh Simmons, who is No. 1 at left tackle.

Simmons was taken No. 32 overall and seems to have locked down the team’s biggest position of need heading into this season.

Listed on the second team are defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott, a second-round pick, and third-rounders Ashton Gillotte, a defensive end, and cornerback Nohl Williams.

Seventh-round pick Brashard Smith, a running back, is listed as the top backup at kickoff and punt return.

Fourth-round pick Jalen Royals is listed as a fourth wide receiver but has been getting reps with the first team at training camp.

Jeffrey Bassa, a fifth-round linebacker, is listed on the third team.

The Chiefs’ first preseason game is Saturday at the Arizona Cardinals. Kickoff is 7 p.m.
