Replay the Kansas City Chiefs 2024 season through The Star’s illustrated posters
A grinning Travis Kelce skateboards across a Chargers lightning bolt.
Patrick Mahomes rides a gigantic raven like a bucking bronco.
An unnamed Chiefs figure, atop a horse and holding a flaming football helmet, invades the Raiders’ home of Las Vegas like the legendary Headless Horseman.
All these and more are the subjects of The Star’s exclusive series of unique game day posters, published with, and inspired by, each matchup in the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2024 season. Throughout the season we’ve published the posters as digital downloads for subscribers to enjoy. Here they are presented together in one collection.
They are a tribute to the fans of Chiefs Kingdom, filled with local pride and always bound to show it, whether gathered in the parking lot of Arrowhead Stadium, on the streets of the city or in living rooms across the metro.
To help create these special offerings for Chiefs fans, we turned to Star illustrator Neil Nakahodo.
Nakahodo, a talented artist who has worked at The Star for more than 20 years, is a skilled designer with a passion for telling stories visually and sharing experiences in images. He has a knack for creating art that seems to jump off the page.
We think these posters do exactly that.
Now, we hope you’ll enjoy reliving them here — 18 in all, from the season opener to Saturday’s playoff showdown with the Houston Texans.
