Chiefs

Which Kansas City Chiefs earned Pro Bowl nods? Who did not? AFC rosters announced

Five Chiefs, including three on the offensive line, have been named to the Pro Bowl Games team.

Center Creed Humphrey and guard Joe Thuney were named starters for the NFL’s all-star showcase, along with defensive tackle Chris Jones. Also making the AFC team from the Chiefs are guard Trey Smith and tight end Travis Kelce.

The Pro Bowl is a familiar honor for most of the Chiefs. Kelce was selected for the 10th time, Jones the sixth.

It’s the third Pro Bowl selection for Humphrey and Thuney, and the first for Smith.

Additionally, the Chiefs had eight alternates selected: quarterback Patrick Mahomes, cornerback Trent McDuffie, linebacker Nick Bolton, fullback Carson Steele, defensive end George Karlaftis, punter Matt Araiza, linebacker Leo Chenal and kicker Harrison Butker.

This year’s Pro Bowl Games will be held in Orlando, Florida, and is scheduled to include a week-long skills competition and flag football game on Feb. 2.

Chiefs players have missed Pro Bowl activities each of the last two years by appearing in the Super Bowl.
