The Kansas City Chiefs have the chance to close out the first half of the NFL’s 18-week regular season as the only remaining undefeated team. You can follow the action right here.

It’s a Super Bowl rematch (feels like we’re saying that a lot these days) as the Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers meet at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on “Monday Night Football.”

Today’s game will be broadcast at 7:15 p.m. on ESPN and ESPN2. Those watching in Kansas City can also see the game on KMBC (Channel 9). Additionally, it will be broadcast on radio via KFNZ (96.5 FM) and WDAF (106.5 FM) in the KC area, and KNSS (98.7 FM) in the Wichita area.

Three storylines for Chiefs-Buccaneers

Pursuit of perfection rolls along

The Chiefs are the NFL’s lone undefeated team, and their latest test comes on prime time. So what needs to happen for that run to continue?

The offense has trended up in recent weeks, but the Chiefs are still looking for a breakout game, potentially tonight. In fact, The Star’s Jesse Newell sees Kansas City reaching 30 points in his game prediction. The Chiefs haven’t done that since last November.

Finding a way ... as injuries pile up

Injuries have already hit this KC team hard, including at the receiver and running back spots.

The latest? The Chiefs are down another tight end — with a torn ACL — and a defensive back heading into “Monday Night Football.” The Star’s Blair Kerkhoff has the full KC injury report.

Homecoming for TB running back Rachaad White

One of the coolest stories from “Monday Night Football” comes from the sideline opposite the Chiefs. Rachaad White grew up in the KC area and left for college without a D-I offer. He continued to work and turned himself into an NFL Draft pick.

Turns out, as The Star’s Sam McDowell reported on, his journey involved facing even more adversity, which is part of why he tries to give back to the KC community.
