Chiefs’ Xavier Worthy made 2 critical catches. How Travis Kelce helped him on both

Kansas City Chiefs receiver Xavier Worthy had a big game in KC’s 17-10 road win against the Los Angeles Chargers — and could be asked to do more following an injury to teammate Rashee Rice.

In this video, KC Star reporter Jesse Newell and Brett Taveau (author of the Chiefs book “Unpacking Greatness” and a longtime high school offensive coordinator) take a closer look at two of Worthy’s big plays and how he got so open.

Worthy was helped by excellent vision from quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and received an assist from tight end Travis Kelce (twice).

The Chiefs also executed on a play they messed up the week before ... with Worthy doing his job well on both instances.
