Where Travis Kelce got that jacket he wore walking into Arrowhead Christmas morning
Social media was buzzing about Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s pregame outfit.
The superstar walked into GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium Monday morning wearing a white leather jacket with black sleeves. In a sign of good workmanship, the NFL and AFC logos look to be stitched on the right arm, a Chiefs helmet and the maker’s logo on the left arm. The Chiefs’ arrowhead logo is small on the left side of the body and large on the back of the jacket.
Who made the jacket? Jeff Hamilton, a Paris-raised fashion designer whose leather jackets have been worn by stars like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Will Smith. Hamilton also makes varsity jackets for other sports leagues, like the NBA and NHL.
“Taylor must have dressed him lol,” said one comment on the Chiefs’ Instagram page.
If you want the jacket, you might be out of luck. The jacket Kelce is wearing is not currently available on Hamilton’s website, but you can buy a similar version in black for $850.
“Merry Christmas to Travis Kelce @killatrav wearing our Kansas City Chiefs off white Wool & Leather varsity jacket,” Hamilton said on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, the superstar singer and a part of the Chiefs Kingdom, arrived at the game wearing a red sweater and black and gray plaid miniskirt. When she got to her suite, she put on a Santa hat with Kelce’s jersey number, 87, on the white trim in front.
