How to watch Kansas City Chiefs’ game vs. Jacksonville Jaguars: TV, kickoff time, odds

At 0-1, the Chiefs look to buck some trends as they visit the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

The loss to the Detroit Lions last Thursday marked the first in a season opener for a Patrick Mahomes-led team, and the second by an Andy Reid-coached team in Kansas City.

The only other first-game loss for Reid came in 2014, when the Chiefs fell to the Tennessee Titans. That is also the only team since Reid arrived in 2013 that missed the playoffs.

According to the NFL, of the 332 teams that lost openers since 2002 (when the league expanded to 32 teams), 82 made the playoffs — about 25%.
