The Chiefs didn’t make any splashy moves before Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline, but they did make a couple of deals.

Wide receiver Kadarius Toney joined the Chiefs in a deal with the New York Giants, while cornerback Rashad Fenton was dealt to the Atlanta Falcons.

Other AFC teams, however, either added more players or traded for a bigger-name player.

The Bills acquired running back Nyheim Hines from the Colts and safety Dean Marlowe from the Falcons. Baltimore traded for Bears linebacker Roquan Smith. The Dolphins added Denver linebacker Bradley Chubb (and gave him a contract extension).

Although the Chiefs didn’t move the needle much with their moves, they still have a talented roster, are leading the AFC West and have played host to the last four AFC Championship Games. And they also have quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Sunday’s game against Tennessee will be the Chiefs’ ninth of the season, meaning they are about at the halfway point of their schedule.

Coming off the trade deadline and the bye week, what is your confidence in the the Chiefs making the Super Bowl? Vote in our poll and or leave a comment.
