Patrick Mahomes sets yet another NFL record in Chiefs’ game against Ravens

It’s yet another record for Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes became the fastest player in NFL history to reach 10,000 career passing yards when he eclipsed the number in Monday’s first half in Baltimore.

Mahomes reached the milestone in his 34th career start, surpassing Kurt Warner, who did it in 36.

In his 33 starts, Mahomes has averaged 300.8 yards per game. He threw his 82nd career touchdown in the second quarter Monday.

He already is the youngest player in NFL history with both a regular season MVP and Super Bowl MVP trophy on his shelf. He won the former in 2018, his first season as a starter, in which he threw for 5,097 yards and 50 touchdowns; and he won the latter in February, capping the Chiefs’ comeback win against the 49ers.
